The energy that is available from natural

resources is called green energy.

The natural resources which provide green energy are wind, sunlight, tide, and water. Green energy is also termed "renewable energy". Solar energy is the generation of electricity from sun rays. The rays of the sun are focused as to boil water, and from this action, electricity is generated. This technology is called photovoltaic. We are getting a lump sum amount of energy from the sun, however the utilization of the amount is very low. The popular solar power plants are the Moura Photovoltaic power station and the Waldpolenz solar park. The energy obtained from airflows is called wind energy. Here, wind turbines are used to produce energies. The peculiarity with wind power is that it produces no greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane.

The energy obtained from water is called hydroelectric power. This includes marine current power, ocean energy and tidal power. Bio fuel is in liquid form and made from bio ethanol. Bio ethanol is an alcohol which is made from sugar components of plant materials which are mostly obtained from starch and sugar crops. These can be widely used as fuel for vehicles mainly in USA and Brazil. Bio diesel is also used in many vehicles. Geothermal energy is obtained by tapping the heat on the earth crust, by means of a geothermal heat pump. We have to utilize these natural resources to produce energy to the maximum level.
